Tetris on a screen is usually a solo affair. Our board game version seats two players across a table for a tabletop strategy game based on the famous falling-block puzzle. We shrank every part, towers and all, until the whole set could hide under one hand, and it remains fully playable.

The box holds a lot for its size: 2 Matrix Towers, 2 Matrix Bases, 56 Tetriminos, 12 Minos, 28 Tetris Cards, 6 Achievement Cards, 4 Player Tokens and 1 Game Board. Those pieces are small, so a steady pinch helps. It travels well and sets up on a cafe table. We recommend it for ages 8 and up.

Perfect for Tetris-loving kids!
Perfect for Tetris-loving kids! We have the large version at home, so for our trip abroad I picked up the mini—and I’m so glad I did. My son was thrilled to see it and has been using it throughout our entire trip during downtime. It’s easy to put together, compact enough to fit in a backpack, and keeps him entertained. The pieces are small and can be easy to lose, but for the price I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another. Definitely worth it!

Fun but easily misplaced
We bought this for our 10 year old son’s Tetris themed birthday party. He loved it and instantly started playing. It is pretty fun. I do think these are a little pricey for what you get. Also if the packing could serve better as a container then maybe the price could be justified. It is challenging to keep track of all the small pieces and parts. It becomes a one time toy if you don’t keep track of them.

Colorful and fun!
Very nostalgic! Will mostly use as a display item. Very cute and so tiny. Has a couple of parts missing, but the company representative sent replacement and sent a link for the instructions in case I did want to play as a game. Love the colorful Tetriminos. Easy to set up, make sure you place pieces in correctly, as they have a flat side and a raised side. I have 2 Polaroid cameras and the Yahtzee game. They are all so cute. We do play the Yahtzee game frequently.
