Asked in a small voice: World's Smallest FAQ

Sorted into four drawers. Open the one that matches your question.

The toys

Do World's Smallest toys really work?

Yes. Each one is a functioning miniature. The drawing toys draw, the games are playable to the end and the electronic ones light up and make sound.

Are they official versions of the originals?

Yes. Every miniature is licensed from the brand that owns the original, which is why the artwork and packaging match.

Does the Polaroid-style camera take pictures?

No. It is a novelty key ring that looks and clicks like the original. The product page says so.

Which ones need batteries?

The electronic games. They use button cells, and most arrive with batteries fitted. Each product page confirms it.

What is the difference between World's Smallest and World's Coolest?

World's Coolest is a sister label from the same workshop, used for items such as the camera key rings and Perplexus.

Sizes and ages

How small is small?

Most miniatures measure between one and four inches. Micro Figures are about 1.25 inches tall and Poptaters about four.

What age are they for?

Usually 6 and up, with some games marked 8 and up. The age is listed in the Tiny facts box on each product page when the listing gives one.

Are they safe for toddlers?

No. Miniatures contain small parts and are a choking hazard for children under 3.

Can adults read the cards?

Yes, in good light. The print is very small, so reading glasses help.

Will a game fit in a pocket?

Almost all of them. Card games are the smallest packs, and the board games are small enough for a coat pocket.

Choosing and buying

Where do I buy them?

Press the button on any product page. It opens the listing at our retail partner, where you can order.

Why does the price here differ from the listing?

We check prices regularly, and the store can change them at any moment. The listing shows the price that applies.

Can I pick a character in an assortment?

Not unless the listing offers a choice. Assortments and blind boxes are sent at random.

What should I buy first?

The toy you or the recipient owned as a child. After that, the Etch A Sketch and Simon are the ones people keep on their desks.

Do you sell multi-packs?

Some listings are sets of two, and Micro Toy Box comes in 10 and 20 packs. Set sizes are in the product name.

After it arrives

A piece is missing. What now?

Check the case and the insert, then report it through your order with the store for a replacement.

How do I return something?

From your order history with the store. Their return window is shown on the listing.

How do I change the batteries?

Follow the instructions on the pack, and replace the cells with the same type that came fitted.

How should I store the tiny pieces?

In the game's own case where it has one. A small zip bag works for the rest.

Who do I tell about a faulty toy?

The store, for a replacement or refund. If it is a safety concern, please also write to us.
