The small print on Gator Golf

Putt-putt usually needs a whole afternoon and a windmill. Ours needs a tabletop. We shrank Gator Golf down to a gator unit of about 2.1 x 3.5 x 1.4 inches and a putter about 3.4 inches long, and we kept the game as you remember it: take aim, tap the ball, and hope the hungry gator takes it.

It is a real working game, not a model, so skill still counts and a missed putt is still funny. The whole set sits in an open hand, which makes it easy to carry to a desk, a holiday table or the back seat. We think it belongs with anyone who collects classic tabletop games in tiny form.
